Do we have to do a cake smash?
No! This session is 100% about your little one on their birthday! If they dislike cake or if you simply prefer that they not have that much sugar, I'm happy to eliminate the cake altogether or offer a different treat option such as fresh fruit, ice cream, cupcakes, a giant lollypop, or whatever your childs favorite food is!
What if my child[ren] has/have a hard time sitting still?
You're not alone! I haven't met many one-year-olds that can! Not to worry though, I'm an expert at following their lead and capturing gorgeous images despite their wiggles. The most important thing is to make sure they're having fun!
We want a smash cake, but our child has a food allergy.
Not a problem at all! The baker I work with offers gluten-free and vegan options for children with food allergies!
